Meth collects nothing about you or your Mac.

The app

No accounts, analytics, crash reporting or ads. Your mode and settings stay in your Mac's preferences and never leave it.

The one network request is the update check. Meth uses Sparkle to fetch https://trymeth.com/appcast.xml about once a day, and to download a new version when you choose to install it. That request carries only what any web request does: your IP address, plus Meth's version in the user agent.

Meth mode runs pmset on your Mac through a rule you approve with your admin password. Nothing about it is sent anywhere.

This site

No trackers, no analytics, no cookies, no third-party scripts or fonts. The GoalBuddy star count in the footer is fetched from GitHub's public API, so GitHub sees that request and your IP address. The host may keep standard server logs to keep the lights on.
